Who we are
The company has been in the textile industry for over 70 years. What started with trading in wool, eventually led to producing woollen yarn for blankets. Blossom Fabrics Limited was incorporated in the year 1995.
Currently managed by the 3rd generation, this family run business has evolved over the last few decades, venturing into floor coverings, bath rugs and bedding.
1998 was our breakthrough year with the first French customer, who placed an order for curtains and rugs. Thus, began the export business which slowly and steadily made its mark across other European countries. The USA, South America, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand followed suit. With the increase in orders it would have been easier to install machines and increase our quantum of work, but we realized that in a machine-led era, our USP would be in handmade products and that has been our strength ever since.
With the global market becoming increasingly conscious of ethical production and focusing on social factors, we obtained our SEDEX, BSCI, ICS, Oeko Tex certifications.
